Letters from a Love-ly Home

In celebration of the impending Day of St. Valentine, Julia (the Chemist) hosted us for our February letter writing party. 

7 writers and 4 typewriters turned up at her charming apartment in the heritage neighbourhood of Queen's Park in New Westminster. 

It was the loveliest of afternoons complete with pink-topped cupcakes, impromptu book exchanges, Pablo Neruda poetry d'amour, and a smattering of cacti (Julia's favourite touch of green.)

Thank you for hosting, Julia! Your home is magical.

Come one, come all.

Create a lovely letter, enjoy a spot of tea and come prepared with papers, pomelos and pens. It's a sharing affair. 

We have two resident typewriters, our beloved Olympia and Remi, so count on having access to them. Of course, if you have your own typewriter, by all means bring it!
